Following 18 months of renovation, the Cours Brillier in Vienne unveils its new appearance, designed to be more welcoming and accessible, during an official inauguration this Saturday, October 3rd.

The city of Vienne and Vienne Condrieu Agglomération are celebrating the completion of the Cours Brillier project. This redevelopment, which began in the summer of 2024, aimed to enhance the safety and appeal of this key thoroughfare for residents, visitors, and tourists.
The official inauguration will take place on Saturday, October 3rd. The event will gather dignitaries including Rémy Darroux, Sub-Prefect of the Vienne arrondissement, Jean-Pierre Barbier, President of the Isère Department, and Thierry Kovacs, Mayor of Vienne, President of Vienne Condrieu Agglomération, and Regional Councillor for Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, along with elected officials, architects, and the technical teams involved.
Festivities will commence at 4:30 PM near the Tourism Pavilion. A musical procession will animate the Cours Brillier leading to the Caserne Rambaud square, where official speeches will be delivered, followed by a toast offered by the Municipality.
To extend the celebrations, the restaurants and cafes along the Cours Brillier will offer special "Inauguration" promotions.
