The inauguration ceremony was attended by several local dignitaries, including Joël Gullon, president of Bièvre Isère and mayor of La Côte Saint-André, and Michel Veyron, vice-president of Bièvre Isère in charge of sports facilities. Numerous elected officials and partners were also present to celebrate this new structure.
Recently accredited by the Ministries of Health and Sports, the Bièvre Isère Sport-Health House aims to assist all residents wishing to start, resume, or maintain physical activity. The goal is to offer a practice tailored to each person's needs, abilities, and health status, enabling them to integrate it sustainably into their daily lives.
This initiative leverages Bièvre Isère's sports facilities and a network of local health professionals and associations. It seeks to combat sedentary lifestyles, promote autonomy, and facilitate access to physical activity suited to individual requirements.
During the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, the event « Osez bouger » (Dare to Move) allowed the public to discover the Sport-Health initiative at a dedicated forum, alongside numerous aquatic and fitness activities at Aqualib’.
