A crisis management exercise simulating a flood of the Drac river due to a dike rupture will take place in Fontaine on October 12th and 13th. The goal is to test emergency coordination.

On October 12th (2 PM - 6:30 PM) and 13th (8 AM - 12:30 PM), crisis management exercises will be held to simulate a flood of the Drac river caused by a dike rupture. These simulations are being implemented by several key actors: the Metropolis, the SYMBHI, the Prefecture, the SDIS, and the involved municipalities.
Based on a fictional meteorological and hydraulic scenario, these different actors will test crisis management procedures. The primary objective is to experiment with the implementation of their crisis management systems, such as the Communal Safeguard Plan, and to improve coordination between the participating entities.
It is specified that this exercise will not involve any operational field actions in the municipality of Fontaine. All communications related to this exercise will be preceded by the mention "Exercice-Exercice-Exercice".
