The Saint-Laurent-du-Pont Hospital, in partnership with the association Le Rigodon, is organizing a solidarity gardening activity in Coublevie, bringing together residents from several facilities to strengthen social ties.

As part of a partnership with the association Le Rigodon, the Saint-Laurent-du-Pont Hospital is participating in a solidarity gardening activity in Coublevie. This initiative aims to promote well-being, social participation, and the discovery of gardening.
The activity brings together individuals from EAM Les Alpages, EAM La Chartreuse, and the EHPAD of Miribel, accompanied by professionals from the various structures. Meetings take place twice a month, with inter-structure organization and transport rotation.
In the garden, everyone participates at their own pace. After a friendly welcome with coffee or a drink, the facilitator presents the tasks. Participants then choose, with their companions, the activities they wish to engage in: watering, weeding, planting, repotting, maintenance, harvesting fruits and vegetables, or picking.

"Beyond gardening, these encounters are primarily an opportunity to step out of one's usual environment, meet other participants, and interact with volunteers and professionals from the association. Team feedback particularly highlights the value of this activity in creating social connections."

The harvests then contribute to the activities of the association Le Rigodon's solidarity restaurant. It is an initiative where gardening, conviviality, solidarity, and encounters grow together.
