Météo-France has placed the Drôme department on yellow alert for rain-flooding and storms this Tuesday, October 20, from 6 AM to 4 PM.

In the south of the Rhône Valley, rainfall intensities could reach 20 to 40 mm/h between 5 AM and 10 AM, with cumulative amounts of 80 to 100 mm over the entire episode. The rest of the department will also experience rain, with less significant accumulations.
A yellow alert for flooding also concerns the Aygues river, in the area between Nyons and Vaucluse. The rains, which are expected to intensify in the form of thunderstorms, could cause river levels to rise.
It is advised to limit travel, especially between 5 AM and 10 AM, and never venture onto an inundated road, whether on foot or by car. It is also recommended to stay away from watercourses and not to park near them. In case of a thunderstorm, seek shelter in a building and avoid sheltering under a tree. Also, secure outdoor objects.
The situation is subject to change. Stay informed on the Météo-France website.
