The trail, named L’Endured de la Bouscaude, situated in the communes of Buis-les-Baronnies and Eygaliers, was officially inaugurated by the CCBDP. This redevelopment, with a total cost of €3700 including tax, is part of the community's strategy to diversify its VTT offerings and provide more fun, modern, and attractive routes, meeting the expectations of new practitioners.
The development work, carried out in 2025-2026, included pruning, drainage, and improvements to the running surface, transforming a former XC (cross-country mountain biking) route into a modern Enduro trail. This initiative was developed in collaboration with local socio-professional stakeholders.
The inauguration was attended by several officials: Roland PEYRON, Vice-President in charge of nature sports, Sébastien BERNARD, President of the Community of Communes, Frédéric BONNET, President of the Departmental Committee of Cycling Tourism of the Drôme, and Vincent RASCLE, Delegate Councilor for nature sports, representing the Drôme Department, the main funder of the project at 60%.
To best illustrate the interest of these developments, an on-site demonstration was organized with children affiliated with the local association Praxis, which offers VTT and nature sports.
