Following the 'La Montagne' trail in Francillon-sur-Roubion a few days ago, it is now the turn of the 'La boucle des écoliers' route, which starts in Chabrillan, to be officially opened. The name refers to the paths once used by schoolchildren.
This 12 km hilly route is designed to be accessible to most people and offers pleasant views of the three perched villages: Chabrillan, Autichamp, and La Roche-sur-Grâne.
During the inauguration, Christine Marion, president of the Community of Communes, praised the commitment of the association 'Les Amis de Chabrillan' for marking and maintaining the trail. She also thanked the 5 landowners who signed passage agreements, ensuring the trail's accessibility and longevity.
The Community of Communes manages a network of 34 circuits totaling 300 km of trails. The creation of this new trail in Chabrillan required significant work, financed at €7,000 by the intercommunal authority.
“"Maintaining and developing our trails means first and foremost offering residents the opportunity to fully enjoy the territory in which they live. Hiking is an activity accessible to the greatest number, allowing people to move, take care of their health, and discover the richness of our landscapes and heritage."
For this inauguration, Christine Marion was accompanied by Claude Pieragostini, delegate councilor for sports, Cyrille Vallon, mayor of Chabrillan, Olivia Morin, elected official in Autichamp, and members of Les Amis de Chabrillan.
