The Ardèche Drôme Numérique team participated this Thursday, October 29th, in the Drôme Mayors' Congress, held at the Palais des Congrès in Valence, to discuss digital challenges and the transition to fiber optics.

This annual event provided an opportunity to meet local elected officials and discuss the next steps for the Drôme territories. As the fiber network deployment nears completion, discussions focused on two priorities: supporting the end of the copper network and the gradual transition to fiber optics, as well as developing digital uses and services to fully leverage the network's opportunities.
The current reimbursement offer for any new fiber subscription and connection was presented. A demonstration of the Internet of Things (IoT) was also showcased, featuring antennas and sensors at the stand.
Ardèche Drôme Numérique's presence at this congress demonstrates its commitment to continue working with local authorities, aiming to make the fiber network a driver for digital service development and attractiveness across the entire Drôme region.
The congress also served as an occasion to review the deployment progress and the difficulties encountered in certain municipalities.
