The year 2028 will mark the 150th anniversary of the statue of the Virgin Mary, erected on the Bonnevie rock overlooking the town of Murat. For this occasion, an association has been created to organize events and celebrations.
Beyond individual faith, the statue is seen as a symbol and landmark for the residents of Murat. The association invites all willing individuals to contribute to its enhancement and restoration.
An informational meeting and the constitutive assembly of the association will take place on Saturday, November 7th, at the Parish House on Place Marchande.
