The Grand Marché de Vichy hosts the 9th Food Forum this Saturday, October 17, 2026, a day dedicated to promoting local, healthy, and sustainable products.

The 9th edition of the Food Forum takes place this Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9 am to 1 pm, at the Grand Marché de Vichy. This annual event aims to raise awareness among the inhabitants of Vichy Communauté about consuming local, quality products, while also educating primary school students about local agriculture and seasonal produce.
The forum features live culinary demonstrations and tastings by the educational restaurant « Le Réflexe » from IFI03 Vichy, led by culinary trainer Jérôme. Students will prepare delicious dishes using local products available on the second floor of the market.
A Territorial Food Project stand will also be present to answer questions and distribute the « Carnet des Producteurs Locaux » (Local Producers' Notebook). This guide for healthy and local food enthusiasts has been reissued for the new season, highlighting new initiatives from local producers.
The photo and audio exhibition « Elles nourrissent. Elles racontent. » (They Feed. They Tell.), presented by SOUDICY and the social center La Magic de Brout Vernet, shines a spotlight on women farmers from Bourbonnais. The exhibition features portraits and audio testimonials accessible via QR code, exploring their profession and their place in the agricultural world.
Admission is free for all. The Food Forum is funded by an ecological planning grant.
