The Town Hall of Commentry has announced direct tax reliefs on the property tax for non-built properties following crop losses caused by the drought observed in recent months of 2026.

Taxpayers are informed that reliefs are being applied to property tax for non-built properties. These measures follow crop losses incurred due to the drought that affected the region over the past months of 2026.
The relief rates vary depending on the type of crop. For arable land, meadows, gardens (nursery, floral, market garden), and vines, the rate is 50% across the entire department. For orchards, the relief reaches 70%.
Affected taxpayers can consult the lists of eligible plots for these reliefs and their amounts at the Town Hall.
It is reminded that this relief for crop losses must be mandatorily passed on by the owner to the farmer, in accordance with Article 411-24 of the Rural Code.
