On Sunday, October 18, 2026, the town of Massieux is organizing a solidarity walk against breast cancer, featuring 6, 8, or 10 km routes and take-away sauerkraut.

As part of Octobre Rose (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), the Festival Committee and the Animation Committee of Massieux are joining forces for a morning of solidarity on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The event aims to support the fight against breast cancer.
The CAM is offering a Solidarity Walk with three distance options: 6 km, 8 km, or 10 km. Participants can decide their distance at the start. The meeting point is Place du Marché, between 9 AM and 10 AM. Everyone is welcome, whether with family, friends, or solo.
After the walk, a take-away sauerkraut, prepared by the Festival Committee, will be available for collection. The prices are set as follows: €10 for the walk, €12 for a portion of sauerkraut, and €20 for the package including both walk and sauerkraut. Entry is free for those under 16.
A touch of pink is encouraged to show support for the cause. All proceeds will be donated to the Centre Léon Bérard. Reservations are open now.
