A project to replace sections of the Etrez-Poligny pipeline, crossing Ain, Saône-et-Loire, and Jura, has been announced. The Storengy company has filed for an environmental derogation.

The project involves the replacement of sections of the Etrez-Poligny pipeline, an infrastructure connecting the Ain, Saône-et-Loire, and Jura departments.
The company Storengy has requested a derogation from the provisions of Article L411-1 of the Environmental Code. This request aims to authorize the capture, destruction, or intentional disturbance of specimens of 78 protected animal species, as well as the destruction, alteration, or degradation of their breeding sites or resting areas for 35 protected species. The transport and capture of specimens of 18 protected species are also included.
