Presented during the public meeting of October 2026, Phase 2 of the village center redevelopment is beginning: improvements to Place de la Poste, Champ de Foire, Rue des Mattes, and Rue des Ruettes. The chosen orientations, perspectives, and provisional work schedule aim to create a more welcoming, secure, and green village center.
Continuing the efforts to beautify and enhance heritage, the municipality is undertaking this second phase. It will include the development of a friendly sandy esplanade under the plane trees at Place de la Poste and Champ de Foire, the reorganization of parking spaces with permeable materials, the securing of pedestrian links to schools, and the maintenance of the pétanque courts. Intersections at Place des Mattes and Montée du Moulin will be redesigned to calm traffic, with wider pedestrian sidewalks and reinforced tree alignments.
The Rue des Mattes and Rue des Ruettes will see the securing of school surroundings and residential areas, the creation of continuous sidewalks, and the implementation of a one-way system on Rue des Mattes to incorporate permeable parking and new trees. The use of light-colored materials and soil de-sealing are among the material choices.
The work schedule spans several months: end of October 2026 for the drinking water network on Rue des Mattes; November – December 2026 for networks (drinking water, wastewater, rainwater) at the Carrefour du Moulin and Rue Centrale; January – February 2027 for the renewal of wet networks on Rue de la Poste and Rue du Champ de Foire; February – April 2027 for roadworks and asphalt laying on Montée du Moulin and Rue des Mattes; April – August 2027 for the creation of final surfaces on Champ de Foire, Rue de la Poste, and the link to Ruettes; and finally, December 2027 for planting and landscaping finishes across all sectors.
